If you’re buying or selling an Android app on Flippa, sooner or later you will need to know how to transfer ownership of an Android app from the seller’s account to the buyer’s account.
While this may sound daunting for some, the process is straight-forward and can be accomplished with relative ease.

Before getting started, make sure both seller account and the buyer’s account are registered and active (herein known as the original and target account, respectively).
Step 1: Obtaining Account Registration IDs
To transfer an app, you will need the transaction IDs of both parties. There are two ways of obtaining this info. The first is to find this on the receipt that was emailed to you upon creating your account. The second is to check Your Transactions on the account you paid

Step 2: Verify Target Account Is Set-up For Transfer
If you are transferring an Android app that is either a paid app or an app with in-app purchases, the target account needs to have an active payment profile. If you are transferring a free app, you can skip this step.
Step 3: Submit Transfer Request
You can submit your transfer request by going here: https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/contact/appt
You will need to fill out some information first and the transfer process can take up to two days upon submission.
Congratulations! You’re now ready to transfer ownership of an Android app.
